Stockton, Calif. - The Tigers added a new recruit for the spring season, signing Anna Ramos Vinolas from Spain this afternoon. Ramos is ranked 77 in the women's tennis individual rankings in Spain.
"I couldn't be more excited to have Anna join the Tiger family," said Head Coach Tina Samara. "She brings a wealth of experience to our program."
The Spanish national has been playing tennis since she was seven years old, growing up in a family of athletes. "She will add more depth to our team this spring. Between Anna and the huge improvements I've seen this fall with my current players, I know this program is moving in a great direction.
