Pacific men's soccer (4-2-1) picked up its first road win of the year on Sunday night at San Jose State (2-4-1) in dominating fashion. Pacific scored all three of its goals in the first half and junior goalkeeper Mateo Gomez earned his second-straight shutout.
"I'm really pleased that we got the result on the road and scored three goals in the first half," head coach Ryan Jorden said. "When you look at our progression from game to game, we continued to grow again tonight. That helped us get into the back of the net."
Pacific went with the same lineup that shut down Sacramento State's offense on Tuesday and got the same success by keeping San Jose State off of the scoreboard and dominating play throughout the match.
