STOCKTON, Calif. – Late first half goals pushed the University of the Pacific field hockey team to victory over the Kent State Golden Flashes on Friday afternoon.

- Midway through the first half, Sophia Lizalde centered the ball for Tayler Silacci, who slotted it in from in front of the goal to give Pacific a 1-0 lead.
- With 11 minutes remaining in the first, Karlijn Roijakkers had a breakaway and found Kriekie van Wyk up ahead, who went one on one with the keeper and hit the lower left corner to increase Pacific's lead, 2-0.
