Hayward, Calif. – The Pacific women's track and field team wrapped up competition at the SF State Distance Carnival Saturday.
Saira Purhar, a freshman from Coquitlam, B.C., Canada, had a stellar start to the day for the Tigers, finishing third among all collegiate athletes and seventh overall in the two-mile race. Purhar clocked a season-best time of 11:50.74.
Emily Wylie snagged a 14th place finish in the one-mile with program-best time of 5:23.90.
The Tigers put together a couple of foursomes for the Distance Medley with their "A" squad — Skylar Duignan, Katelin Somraty, Wylie, and Jasmine Gonzales — earning a fifth place finish (12:56.
