Pacific women's basketball (10-5, 3-2 WCC) rolled to its biggest with of the season on Saturday at the Alex G. Spanos Center, 79-47 over San Diego (8-9, 1-5 WCC).
The Tigers roared to an 11-1 lead in the first three minutes and never looked back in the blowout victory. Three Tigers, Valerie Higgins, Ameela Li and Brooklyn McDavid finished in double figures. Li neared a triple-double with 12 points, 8 steals and 7 assists while Higgins and McDavid weren't far off from points and rebounds double-doubles. As a team, the Tigers shot 49% from the field and held the Toreros to only 32%.
