STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific women's field hockey team is one of 74 Division I programs who earned the 2017 Zag Field Hockey/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division I National Academic Team Award, as released by the NFHCA on Tuesday, March 20.
The Division I National Academic Team Award recognizes those programs that earned a team GPA of 3.00 or higher during the Fall Semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
Pacific accumulated a team GPA of 3.18 in the 2017-18 academic year.
"Another great achievement where it really counts, in the classroom," said head coach Andy Smith.
