STOCKTON — Damon Stoudamire may consider mid-major basketball the dark side.
But if that’s the case, then the second-year Pacific men’s coach and former NBA guard is rapidly embracing that dark side a la Star Wars.
The Tigers have won four consecutive West Coast Conference games, and sit two games behind WCC-leading Saint Mary’s, which visits Pacific at 7 p.m. today at Spanos Center.
“Mid-major basketball is the dark side to me. It’s tough, man, and the competition is very even,” Stoudamire told The Record earlier this week.
“It’s a lot of scheming, it’s a lot of different looks.
