STOCKTON – Pacific senior Tylah King carried a small pine board in her hands – freshly chopped into two chunks – as she walked out of the tunnel and onto the basketball court Saturday afternoon to visit with family and friends.
She was chosen by her Tigers teammates to execute a new tradition of breaking a board in the locker room after every win this year.
It was the sixth busted board for Pacific and fifth in a row as the Tigers wore down the visiting UC-Santa Barbara Gauchos for a 69-53 non-league victory in front of 418 fans at the Spanos Center.
