WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The pacific field hockey team pushed passed the #18 Tribe Friday evening with a 5-4 victory for their third road win of the season. Kriekie van Wyk netted two goals for the Tigers while Ash Rutherford, Savannah Burns and Gaby de Kock each added a goal for the traveling Orange and Black.
First on the board was the Tribe as they went up 1-0 five and a half minutes into the first 35. They extended their league, 2-0 with another goal shortly after.
The Tigers answered in the 22nd minutes as van Wyk netted her sixth goal of the season off a penalty corner taken by Emma Leach that was setup by Rutherford.
