Pacific men's tennis (4-11, 1-1 WCC) got back in the win column today with a 4-1 win over San Francisco (3-8, 0-2 WCC) at the Even Zimmerman Tennis Center on Sunday. The win snapped a five-match skid for the Tigers.
Pacific got going early with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles to snatch the point from the Dons. Juniors Akram El Sallaly and Tadiwa Chinamo continued a run of strong performance by winning their third-straight match in doubles, 6-4 over Oz Daniel and Paul Griaud, 6-4. The two were the West Coast Conference Doubles Team of the Week last week and are candidates to repeat again this week.
