Pacific Picked Second In AE Preseason Poll

Stockton, Calif. - The America East Conference announced their preseason poll results today. The Pacific Tigers were picked second in the West Division, finishing with seven points in the poll, just behind Stanford's nine. Pacific received one of the four first place votes as well. The other three first place votes in the West Division went to Stanford. California and UC Davis were tied for third in the West Division poll with four points each.

"It's always nice to receive some recognition from the coaches but we have to bear in mind a poll is just a poll and will mean nothing at the end of the season," said Head Coach Andy Smith about the poll results.
