STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific beach volleyball team will open its 2019 campaign with two home games this week against Saint Mary's and San Jose State.
The Tigers will host the Gaels on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. and will wrap up its home stand on Saturday when it takes on the Spartans at 11:00 a.m.
There will be nearly all new faces on the sand this year for Pacific after graduating seniors — Katrin Gotterba, Alex Holt, and Taylor Poncetta. The Tigers only returner will be sophomore Hanne De Schrijver.
Among the newcomers to the beach season are indoor volleyball players — Gabby Leo, Allison Dennemann, Jadyn Tubbs, Lucy Carpenter, Riley Patterson, and Lauren Cline.
