STOCKTON – The latest victory for the Pacific men’s basketball team sends the Tigers into the holiday week with their best start in 15 years.
The Tigers hustled to defeat Idaho State 77-66 at the Alex G. Spanos Center, winning their seventh consecutive game with plenty of big plays to make the 1,629 in attendance roar.
Pacific’s Jahlil Tripp led all scorers with 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Amari McCray scored 12 of his 15 points in the first half while dishing out four assists.
Pacific’s 12-3 record is the best start since 2004-05. The Tigers round out their pre-conference schedule on Saturday at UC Irvine.
