The Pacific men’s water polo team concluded the Stanford MPSF Invite on Sunday on a strong note, taking a 10-9 victory over No. 8 Long Beach State.
Engin Ege Colak scored five goals in the win, giving him 17 total for the weekend. Luke Pavillard added three scores, with Andrea De Nardi and Luis Araya also finding the back of the net.
Goalkeeper John Hedges made eight saves in the match for the Tigers.
Pacific (8-7) will play at home next weekend against UC Santa Barbara.
