STOCKTON – The Pacific Tigers men’s basketball team opened its three-game home stand on Thursday with a loss to West Coast Conference foe St. Mary’s, which extended its consecutive win streak over the Tigers to 13 contests.
Unexpected was the lack of points by the Tigers at Spanos Center, setting a new season low point total in their 58-32 defeat to the Gaels. It was the lowest scoring output of the season for the Tigers, whose previous low was 36 points at Gonzaga on January 10.
“The ball just wasn’t going our way,” said Pacific senior Anthony Townes, coming off his first double-double of the season on Saturday.
