STOCKTON – It took an entire half, but the Tigers solved Longwood’s pressure and then showed the Lancers some defense of their own.
Pacific turned its defense up a notch to ignite a 21-2 second half run to race away for a 69-51 victory over Longwood in front of a crowd of 1,859 on Friday at the Spanos Center.
The win gave Pacific a 4-0 record in the Collegiate Hoops Roadshow with Tigers senior Jahlil Tripp earning Most Valuable Player honors with his hustle over the tournament. Tripp finished with eight points and five rebounds in the win for Pacific.
