STOCKTON — Roberto Gallinat is coming off a great week which didn’t result in wins for him and the Pacific Tigers.
He and his teammates are hoping to change that last part when they begin the West Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Championship tournament today.
The Tigers, seeded fifth in the WCC, meet No. 4 San Francisco at 3 p.m. today at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. Pacific has lost three in a row, but is in far better shape than last season, when it finished with a 4-22 record.
But while having the program turned in the right direction is nice, the Tigers are hoping to make some noise this weekend.
