SPOKANE, Wash. – For the first time in nearly 26 years, the Pacific Tigers will take on the No. 1 ranked team in the country when they square off against the Gonzaga Bulldogs on Saturday afternoon at the McCarthy Athletic Center. Gonzaga prevailed in the first meeting this season on Dec. 31st in Stockton by a final of 81-61 despite trailing 34-29 at the half.
The game at Gonzaga marks the back end of a two-game road trip for the Tigers that began with a 76-65 win at Portland on Thursday night. It marked Pacific's first win at the Chiles Center since Nov.
