The University of the Pacific’s men’s golf team finished in 11th place at the Paintbrush Invitational in Parker, Colorado.
The Tigers had a team score of 313 in the closing round to hold their position at No. 11. Colorado State won the tournament at six-over par, eight strokes ahead of second place Oregon. Pacific outshot the tournament’s hosts, Denver, by eight strokes. CSU’s Oscar Teiffel placed first among all golfers thanks to a 67 in the closing round.
Pacific juniors Austin Fox and Casey Scott wrapped up round two this morning to lock the Tigers into a team score of 297, Pacific’s best of the tournament.
