PALO ALTO, Calif. – The Pacific women's beach volleyball team went 2-0 on the first day of Stanford's Bay Area Kickoff in Palo Alto on Friday afternoon.
The Tigers opened the day with a 5-0 sweep of San Francisco. No. 1 Skylar Wine and Maycie LaBass, No. 2 Roni Long and Taylor Poncetta, No. 3 Katrin Gotterba and Alex Holt and No. 5 Kaitlyn Lines and Olivia Petnicki.
No. 4 Hanne De Schrijver and Ashlyn Fleming went 21-19 in the first set before allowing Hornets' Skylar Takeda and Sarah Falk to take the second set by a score of 21-13.
