STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific women's tennis team fell, 4-2, to the University of Portland on Saturday afternoon.
The Tigers fall to 6-10 on the season and 2-4 in the West Coast Conference, while Portland improves to 5-14 overall and 1-7 in conference play.
After falling in the doubles competition, Anna Ramos Vinolas picked up a point for Pacific to start off singles play and tie the match 1-1 on court 4. Ramos Vinolas defeated her opponent Raphaelle LeBlanc in two straight sets by scores of 6-1 and 6-3.
After the Pilots took the 2-1 advantage, Dohee Lee tied the match again at 2-2 on court 2.
