DAVIS, Calif. – The Pacific women's beach volleyball team recorded two of its best performances of the year, despite falling to both Oregon (4-1) and UC Davis (3-2) on Saturday afternoon.
In their first match against the Ducks, three of Pacific's flights, including Kennedy Kaminsky/Lucy Carpenter, Lauren Cline, Hanne De Schrijver, and Riley Patterson/Allison Dennemann forced their respective games to be decided in three sets. Claiming the Tigers only victory against Oregon was Pacific's No. 3 flight — Patterson/Dennemann. After falling 22-20 in the first set the freshman duo downed Oregon's Lauren Page and Emily Mattoon 21-13 and 17-15 in sets two and three, respectively.
