Pacific men's tennis fell at home today, 4-3 to Nevada following an epic match at No. 1 singles that the Tigers came up short in.
Pacific picked up wins at two, three and five singles and nearly took the doubles point, but a three-set match at No. 1 singles ended up as the deciding factor. Freshman Philip Hjorth took Nevada's junior, Julien Evrard, who was an All-Mountain West selection in 2018, to three sets, but came up just short of a match-clinching victory.
"Today was a battle," head coach Ryan Redondo said. "I thought that Nevada fought really hard all the way to the end.
