STOCKTON, Calif. – The University of the Pacific men's tennis team fell in its home conference opener against No. 49 Brigham Young University on Friday afternoon, 4-0.
The Tigers fall to 3-11 on the season and 0-1 in the West Coast Conference.
In the doubles' competition, Akram El Sallaly and Bernardo Oliveira dropped their match, 6-1. Ross Watson and Tadiwa Chinamo had the opportunity to claim a win but went unfinished when John Horoz Garner and Johnathan Lieu fell in their match, 6-2, giving the Cougars the 1-0 advantage.
