Pacific men's tennis (4-13, 1-4 WCC) took on a solid Loyola Marymount team (5-10, 3-0 WCC) in the weekend conclusion on Saturday in Los Angeles, but came up short of a win in a 4-3 match.
The Tigers got out front early by taking the doubles point with wins on courts two and three, but went on to fall in four matches in singles to come up just short of a victory. Juniors Akram El Sallaly and Tadiwa Chinamo got wins in singles and junior Ross Watson and Philip Hjorth, as well as junior Nathan Hampton and freshman Josef Southcombe, got wins in doubles for the Tigers.
