Pacific falls at Nevada, 77-67

RENO, Nev. - Nevada shot 54 percent (6-of-11) from 3 in the second-half run to overcome a four-point deficit and defeat Pacific, 77-67, Tuesday evening at the Lawlor Events Center.

Pacific (2-3), which entered Tuesday tops in the West Coast Conference in offensive rebounding, outrebounded Nevada 41-37 overall, including 16-9 on the offensive glass, and outscored the Wolf Pack in the paint 28-16.

Nevada opened the game 3-of-10 shooting, while Pacific was just 1-of-11. Despite trailing by five early, the Tigers defense began to suffocate the Wolf Pack, drawing two offensive fouls and allowing only one point in a four-minute span.
