Spokane, Wash.--- Pacific's (2-10-0, 0-3-0 WCC) defense withstood tremendous pressure from a Gonzaga (7-3-2, 2-1-0 WCC) offense that took a total 25 shots in the match, but allowed a goal in the 74th minute that would stand up to give the Bulldogs a win. The Tigers fought until the final whistle for an equalizer, but the effort was not enough to force overtime.
"This was a hard-fought match," head coach Kerri Scroope said. "We fought all night and have all season and we're sticking together. We're just inches from finishing and getting a goal that can earn a result for us.
