STOCKTON, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team fell to Santa Clara, 4-3 in a back and forth match Friday at Eve Zimmerman Tennis Center. Tadiwa Chinamo, Nathan Hampton, and Alex Giannini all posted wins for the Tigers with Chinamo and Akram El Sallaly also earning a doubles win for the second time this week.
In doubles action, Ross Watson and Miguel Diaz went down first as they were defeated 6-2 by Santa Clara's Robert Seby and Jesus Barajas. The Tigers were able to tie it up with Akram El Sallaly and Tadiwa Chinamo posting a 6-4 win over Connor Garnett and Vasileios Iliopoulos.
