Pacific earns rare win at Santa Clara

SANTA CLARA — The Pacific Tigers picked up a rare win in Santa Clara, and it wasn’t close.

Miles Reynolds tossed in a career-high 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting and the Tigers coasted to a 63-45 victory over Santa Clara on Thursday night.

Lafayette Dorsery added 14 points off the bench for the Tigers (11-13, 6-5 West Coast Conference), who moved into a tie for fourth place with San Diego.

It was only the third win for Pacific at Leavey Center in the past 10 years, and overall it is 48-12 in Santa Clara. The Tigers also snapped a three-game losing streak.
