Pacific women's soccer (2-5-0) played in a hard-fought match but fell to Cal State Northridge (2-2-1), 1-0, in the second overtime period.
The Tigers threw everything at the Matadors in the attacking third but came up just short. Pacific took a season-high 25 shots and nearly scored three times in the opening 20 minutes. The Tigers continued to pour on pressure throughout the match and nearly found the back of the net on numerous occasions.
