Pacific Downs Sacramento State, 3-1

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – The Pacific women's volleyball team defeated Sacramento State, 3-1, by scores of 25-14, 23-25, 25-18, and 25-15 on Wednesday night at The Nest.

Pacific improves to 2-2 on the season, while Sacramento State falls to 3-2.

The Tigers offense was dominant for their second-straight match hitting .306 as a team, while holding the Hornets to a .134 hitting percentage. Emily Baptista led both teams with 16 kills, while Andie Shelton had 15 kills, Skylar Wine had 14 kill, and Ashlyn Fleming totaled 12 kills.

Defensively, Pacific held a 63-45 edge in digs and out-blocked their opponents 22-19.
