Pacific Downed 9-2 After Early Deficit

STOCKTON, Calif. – The Pacific Tigers lost 9-2 to the San Jose State Spartans Tuesday night after the Spartans struck for six runs in the first three innings. Danny Mayer homered in the game while Matt Tarantino added to his team-leading RBI total with his tenth of the season but that was all the offense the Tigers could muster. Pacific is 5-6 on the season now.

The loss would go to Kyle Ostrowski, who falls to 0-2.

Mayer knocked a homerun in the fourth inning that was out of the park by the time the outfielders could turn around for Pacific's first run.
