STOCKTON - Pacific freshman Callie Owens is happy to come off the bench and boost her team with a quick 3-pointer.
But even her usual spark wasn't enough to propel Pacific for long enough Saturday against Fresno State. The Bulldogs were able to counter the things that briefly worked for the Tigers to spoil Pacific's Stockton Arena debut, 74-67.
"They were able to adjust to what we were doing every single time," Owens said. "Once we figured out how to break what they were doing, then they changed it so we had to figure out how to break that, too.
