Stockton, California ---It took an overtime and then some, but the Pacific Tigers men's soccer team got back in the win column with a 3-2 victory over Santa Clara on homecoming.
In what started out as a back and forth game, The Tigers prevailed thanks to an overtime goal from freshman Cooper Riley. It was the second time this year that a freshman won the game in overtime for the Tigers and Pacific's fifth match that needed more than 90 minutes. Pacific still has not lost in an overtime match this season.
"There were moments in the game where we played really, really well and I was extremely proud of the football that we played and our application towards our goals and objectives.
