University of the Pacific men’s basketball coach Damon Stouamire filled the remaining spots on his 2019-2roster by adding three new players
The school announced that guards Austin Vereen and Pierre Cockerill Jr. and forward Shaquillo Fritz have joined the Tigers. Cockerill is a freshman, and Vereen and Fritz are graduate students with remaining eligibility.
Vereen, a 6-foot-4 Washington, D.C. native, spent three seasons with the Virgnia Military Institute and missed last season with a wrist injury. As a junior, he appeared in 30 games with an average of 10.4 points and 4.7 rebounds.
“Austin is a mature player who will give us experience and depth on the wing,” Stoudamire said in a state released by the team.
