STOCKTON – Ryan Garko has been in baseball for many years, and there has not been a shortage of new and exciting memories.
The latest special moment for the University of the Pacific baseball coach and former Major League player was watching Tigers pitcher Ryan Shreve throw a no-hitter last weekend. Garko had never been part of a no-hitter on any level, and he was as excited as any player or fan could be at the accomplishment.
“It was an amazing individual performance, and one of the coolest things in baseball,” Garko said during the latest edition of The Record’s 209 Overtime Podcast.
