STOCKTON – A recent stretch of offensive outpouring ended abruptly for the Pacific baseball team on Thursday.
The Tigers had belted 15 home runs in their previous eight games and averaged more than seven runs per game the past week, before being blanked 6-0 by BYU in a West Coast Conference game at Klein Family Field.
Pacific sits in last place in the WCC entering today’s game against the Cougars at 6 p.m., weather permitting.
The Tigers (12-16, 2-8 WCC) stranded nine base runners and did not have an extra-base hit.
