STOCKTON, Calif. - A goal in the 102nd minute off the foot of Andres Ochoa helped the Pacific men's soccer team defeat visiting Loyola Marymount 1-0 on Sunday afternoon. Colin Bettencourt assisted on the golden goal, while Curtis Goldsmith was perfect between the posts en route to his fifth clean sheet of the season.
"Our guys showed a lot of strength mentally today to continue to grind out the win," said head coach Ryan Jorden. "Going Friday and then again Sunday afternoon is always difficult, so for our guys to give everything they had today, pitch a shutout while getting the result in overtime is huge.
