STOCKTON, Calif. – Men's soccer Andres Ochoa was named Pacific's Competitor of the Month for November after helping the Tigers cap off their historic 2016 season. Only eight student-athletes at Pacific are honored with the Competitor of the Month award each academic year as voted on by the Pacific coaches. The award is given each month to a Pacific athlete who demonstrates unusual or remarkable competitive effort, focus, and discipline.
Ochoa started the final 18 games of the season for the Orange and Black and ranked second on the team in assists with four. The captain helped lead the Tigers to their first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history and log a 1-0 victory in the first round game against Cal State Northridge.
