Pacific men's soccer (6-3-2, 0-1-0 WCC) dropped its conference opener to the number nine team in the nation, Saint Mary's (12-0-0, 1-0-0 WCC), by the score of 4-0 on Sunday night at home.
Saint Mary's scored in the 13th minute a didn't look back in the match to continue their unbeaten streak, the Gaels are now the final undefeated team in the nation. The Tigers, like many other teams this season, had trouble unlocking the Gaels defense. The Tigers took just three shots in the match against a Saint Mary's defense that has allowed just four goals all season.
