STOCKTON - For 28 minutes, the Pacific men's basketball team dazzled and danced on Saturday.
But No. 7 Gonzaga proved too difficult to contain, wearing down the Tigers 81-61 in a West Coast Conference game at Spanos Center.
The Bulldogs remained undefeated, but not without a challenge from a determined Pacific squad. With Anthony Townes in foul trouble, head coach Damon Stoudamire said he ran out of bodies to counter Gonzaga's deeper roster.
"When I look at their team, they've got three starters coming off the bench," Stoudamire said. "Those guys could easily start. (Gonzaga coach Mark Few) has a lot of confidence in them, you can tell.
