Pacific men's tennis season came to an end today with a 4-0 loss on the road at No. 30 San Diego.
The Tigers got a win in doubles on court three to even thing up a 1-1 in the fight for the doubles point, but it was the only match the Tigers would win against the nation's No. 30 team. San Diego's win five the Toreros the second seed at the West Coast Conference Championships next weekend in Claremont. Pacific loss means they'll finish in a tie for seventh in the conference with Saint Mary's.
In doubles, San Diego took a 1-0 lead with a win at court one, but junior Nathan Hampton and freshman Josef Southcombe pulled out a 6-3 victory over Noah Dufort and Pratt Keerasuntonpon to even things up.
