STOCKTON, Calif. - A pair of second half goals helped the No. 23 Pacific men's soccer team defeat Grand Canyon 2-1 on Sunday night in comeback fashion. Tyson Fox and Alfredo Alcala both scored their second goals of the year and goalie Curtis Goldsmith made four saves in the victory.
The win lifts the Tigers to 6-0 overall this year while the loss drops the Lopes to 1-4.
The Lopes took an early 1-0 lead in the 25th minute as Niki Jackson took a shot that was saved by Curtis Goldsmith but pulled him out of position for Damian German's next shot which found the back of the net for the score.
