STOCKTON – The Pacific Tigers had the Gonzaga in their grasp, but the Bulldogs once again were able to slip away.
The Bulldogs out-rebounded the Tigers held Pacific to its lowest point total of the season in a 63-51 West Coast Conference victory over the Tigers in front of 551 fans Thursday evening at the Spanos Center.
Gonzaga outrebounded Pacific 44-30, including 23 offensive rebounds, to fuel a 32-16 advantage scoring in the paint and surrendered just one field goal to the Tigers in the fourth quarter, a Brooklyn McDavid layup with just under a minute left in the game, to secure the win.
