STOCKTON – Bradley Davis knew University of the Pacific’s women’s basketball team was going to need another exceptional and consistent effort to have a chance to knock off highly-rated Gonzaga.
And while the Tigers had their moments on Thursday night, the No. 11 Zags pulled away in the second half and earned an 83-65 win at Spanos Center. It was the 21st consecutive win for Gonzaga (23-1, 12-0 West Coast Conference), but the Tigers came the closest to spoiling that run when they almost upset the Zags in Spokane, Washington on Jan.
