STOCKTON — Braeden Oki moved into the leadoff position for the Delta College Mustangs and he wanted to make something happen.
And boy, this guy wasn't kidding around.
The fleet-footed centerfielder sparked Delta's offense with four stolen bases, including one of home plate. Oki's base running skills, a couple of home runs and another fine performance by undefeated starter Alex Patterson added up to a 7-1 win against Sierra on Tuesday at Delta's Cecchetti Field. The Mustangs (20-4, 7-3 Big 8 Conference) snapped a two-game losing skid.
"It's a win," Delta head coach Reed Peters said.
