Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men's water polo team racked up nine Golden Coast Conference awards as the conference announced its honorees Thursday on the even of the Championship Tournament at Pacific's Chris Kjeldsen Pool.
Freshman Engin Ege Colak was named GCC Newcomer of the Year, while Senior Aleksandar Petrovic earned All-GCC First Team honors. Colak, senior Ikko Saito and junior Devon Thumwood earned All-GCC Second Team accolades, with freshman Luis Araya garnering honorable mention. The Tigers placed three on the All-Freshman team, with Colak, Araya and Alen Osmanovic being named.
