Davis, Calif. - Pacific's Jose Chamba and Nathan Hampton each won two matches Friday in the opening day of action at the Aggie Invitational in UC Davis.
In the B Flight of singles, Chamba downed Samuel Feit of Gonzaga, 6-2, 6-3, in the Round of 32 and then posted a Round of 16 win over Jacob Lagman of Saint Mary's, 1-6, 6-0, 6-2, to advance to the quarterfinals.
In Flight C, Nathan Hampton posted wins in the quarterfinals over Andrew Newell of Portland, 6-0, 7-6 (4) and then in the semifinals over Sacramento State's Kevin Zolnikov, 2-6, 6-3, 6-0.
