Stockton, Calif. - The Pacific men's tennis team will add incoming freshman Nathan Hampton, head coach Ryan Redondo announced Monday. The two-time Oregon state champion will join Pacific for the fall of 2016.
Hampton is from Eugene, Oregon, where he attends Churchill High School. He has won the high school 5A state singles championship in back-to-back seasons, capping his senior season with the title last Saturday on May 21.
He is ranked No. 26 in the Pacific Northwest region in the 18-year old division, and No. 13 in the men's open division.
"I am really excited for Nathan to join Pacific and the Pacific Tennis program," Redondo said.
