The United Soccer Coaches released it's preseason poll for the 2018 men's soccer seasons today, awarding Pacific nine votes in the poll.
Pacific was ranked as high as 14th during the 2017 season and returns 15 players from last year's NCAA Tournament run to the second round including the team's top three goal scorers and point earners, Tariq Branche, Anthony Orendain and Camden Riley.
Pacific is receiving votes with two other West Coast Conference programs, Portland, which received 13 votes and San Francisco, which received three. Stanford is ranked first overall in the poll and earned 23 first place votes, 21 more than the second closest team.
